Implements training  curriculum for a Basic Maintenance Training course in the discipline of instrument and electrical. Job is 9-15 weeks and we will pay for housing and mileage. Pay is $35-$43 per hour.

Requirements include:

  • Associates degree or equivalent instrumentation or electrical technology
  • 5+ years experience working on chemical manufacturing/refining operations
  • Previous experience as a classroom trainer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Uses Microsoft Word/Excel to develop/revise documents
  • Works with technical writers and training developers to create training materials for instrumentation and electrical technicians
  • Conducts classroom training
  • Performs knowledge and skills assessments of maintenance personnel and provides feedback
  • Reads and interprets diagrams and technical information
  • Breaks down complex processes into logical steps
  • Identifies and communicates industry best practice methods
  • Works with client and team members
  • Completes daily reports and follows training plans
  • Manages time and work requirements to meet deadlines
